Born in the coastal community of Corpus Christi,Texas,Jaime began his airbrush career at 17 working at T-Shirts Plus at a local mall painting t-shirts. After high school, he moved on to Houston and attended the Art Institute of Houston and working at the University Of Houston as an editorial cartoonist which earned him the Texas Intercolligiate Press Association Award for newspaper cartoon editorials & illustration presented by Southwest Texas State Univ.San Marcos,Tx. His budding career in the Artworld was cut short by a call of duty, with Jaime serving Uncle Sam by fighting in the first Gulf War with The Second Armored Calvary Regiment, headquartered in Nürnberg, Germany. After serving in the military for 4 years as an M1A1 Tanker Driver,Jaime never losing site returned to challenge the Artworld, being featured in national publications and on German television.Some of his clients Deutsche Telekom,Monk Rock Festival,Kulmbacher Brauerei(Brewery)Richard Wagner Opera,Special Olympics,Otto Bock Industries,Lexington Bridge,MizBHavin Productions,Videolands Germany,Novem Car&Interior Design,Dept Of Defense,to name a few.
The Airbrushman One a name, but certainly not the whole story!Airbrush is just part of the story. From life drawing from tshirts to guitars ... this collection is as diverse as it is Creative! Hailing from Texas, but currently dazzling the underground Art scene in Europe, The Airbrushman One continues to explore new media. His Creations mix some old-school comic technique with modern high-tech graphic design.The results speak for themselves.Since then, Jaime has been active in passing on his knowledge to young guns of tomorrow,offering workshops in local schools.Jaime frequently volunteers his services and most recently worked with U.N.I.C.E.F's ART & Literature to help raise money for hungry children in Third World Countries.Giving back to the community is what it's all about,"Jaime says.He is currently working on yet another one-man exhibit, introducing some of his characters from The Airbrushman1 Pigmentor Comics. Jaime is also driven by passion for music is currently working with Heaven's Crown & N8FEUER as guitarist.His music can be heard on all his Art Videos featured on the web.The Official Airbrushman1 website is currently under construction.
